There is no better way to experience Italy’s capital than with a private driver collecting guests from their accommodation or other central location to enjoy a 2-hour journey throughout the Eternal City. With traditional dinner times in local restaurants commencing at 7.00 pm, a pick-up at 9.00 pm is perfect for this private drive around the most interesting and romantic locations of Rome. Backdropped by the stars and the moon, guests have the opportunity to see Rome at its most splendid.
Some of the sites that can be selected on this splendid Rome-by-night tour include the Colosseum, Pantheon, St. Peter’s, Imperial Forum, Vittorio Emanuele II monument, Via Veneto, Teatro di Pompeo (where Julius Caesar was assassinated), Piazza Navona, Sant’Angelo Castle and Ponte degli Angeli.
Upon request, this tour can also stop at the Trevi Fountain where guests may toss a coin into the waters for good luck. Legend has it that tossing a coin with your back to the waters guarantees you’ll return to Rome. This is extended by another legend saying that throwing two coins in thus means a new romance and a third means marriage. Guests are also free to stop for photographs or other special moments together.

To this day, most also provide drinking water to locals. None is more iconic than the Trevi Fountain however.
Scattered amongst Rome’s architectural delights, open spaces and fountains are a great number of historic statues and frescoes by some of the world’s most eminent artists.
